What I have learnt from this experiment:
-I have learnt how to use a microscope and how cells look like depending on how powerful the objective lenses are. =========================================== What I would like to see with this microscope: -How different types of animal and plant cells look like. -Different kinds of bacteria found on objects. Chapter 2 Practical 1 (Cell Model):
|
What I have learnt from this experiment;
-I have learnt how different types of cells such as Cheek cells and the Eloda plant cells look like. -The different cell parts found in each cell =========================================== What are the main differences I see: -The Eloda plant cells have a fixed shape whilst Cheek cells don't. Some of the challenges that me and my partner had to face was that:
1) We only planned out what to do on the day itself and had to make use of the only resources we had. 2) We completely changed what cell model we were gonna make halfway we were doing the original cell we planned on doing 3) We did not know what to do most of the time. 2 things we learnt about our chosen cell: 1) We learnt about the different kinds of parts the cell had. 2) We learnt about the functions that the cell had. |
Chapter 2 Practical 2 (Agar blocks):
2 Challenges me and my partner encountered during this experiment were:
1) We were a bit confused with the instructions, thus instead of putting the 3 agar blocks separately, we placed them in the same beaker. 2) We were sometimes slow when we had to start the stopwatch immediately when the blocks were placed in the dish. |
